Question / Help Quality of Recording appears worse on my monitor than a TV, why?

I have a 3440x1440 (ultrawide) monitor, and for some reason my recordings look a lot worse on my monitor than my 4k TV. Wouldn't it be the same - if not worse on 4k TV's? From what I've read, lower quality (720p for example, like my recording) looks worse on higher resolution screens than screens that have a pixel density closer to the video's resolution. Please help me understand or let me know if there's a possible solution. Thanks!
