Hello, i will post 2 vods and one log to show you the difference.

This is 4500 bitrate : https://www.twitch.tv/videos/371985529
This is 6000 bitrate : https://www.twitch.tv/videos/371986338

Are my expectations too high or am i right saying that the quality sucks ? I'm making this post because whenever i look at someone else with the same settings as mine, their streams look way better even tho they have the same bitrate and same/worse pc.
Not to mention that when i stream with my webcam on, whenever i do these movements, my webcam is pixelated as fuck.

Specs are:

I5 8600k OC at 5ghz
1070ti
16gb ram
webcam logitech c920

It's not about streamlabs, i just switched to that so i can see if it's the obs. I rarely use it, i like the original obs studio more since it's simpler.

If you're having a problem with OBS Studio, then please provide an OBS studio logfile that shows your problem so I can see if I can help.

If you can't do x264 Fast your quality will suffer, full stop, there is nothing you can do to change that.

https://r-1.ch/x264_preset_comparison/

NVENC is not capable of quality anywhere near Fast at streaming bitrates, NVENC is closer to Very Fast. RTX cards will be capable of Faster level of quality, but Fast is a level above. Beyond Fast is a waste but if your CPU can handle it without skipping or tanking your FPS then by all means do it.

Quality and GPU encoding do not go in the same sentence for streaming at low bitrates. GPU encoding is EXCELLENT for recording though.

There is a reason people spend thousands of dollars on computers capable of doing x264 Medium/Slow, the quality is unmatched and any attempt to reach that level with a GPU or underpower CPU will be met with frustration.
