Question / Help Quality lowered after DC

Hello!

Was streaming the other day when my internet supplier suddenly cut the connection and so my stream was down for a couple of minutes.
When I got the stream back up the quality was lower than previous and my viewers are noticing too, complaining that the quality is not the same.
How can this be? I see no apparent changes in my settings.
Maybe someone experienced something similar?

It could be your ISP was fine and your stream didn't cut out but your stream hit the target number of viewers to enable transcoding at twitch. When this happens twitch will replicate your stream to other streaming servers (which will cause some people to black out) and will give viewers quality options. in your case you would want to have them refresh the stream then set their quality back to source as their PC might have defaulted to medium or even high

You didn't lose quality, you probably gained the ability for more people to watch you
