flv. If the mp4 isn't finalized properly for ANY reason, the entire file is ruined.

Use Indistinguishable as the quality like I said to.
And don't save directly to mp4.

Thx! works great now! But why are there such big problems with "high" CPU load in OBS? If the game runs at 60+ FPS Why is the recording then on a lower rate? The files are way bigger now, but luckily I have a 1 TB SSD. But 7 GB for 3 minutes? Is that normal? That wouldbe some HUGE files after about 2 hours of gaming...

Considering the picture quality of the indistinguishable preset, those files aren't actually that huge. I hope you didn't choose lossless by mistake.
