Question / Help Quality doesn't get better

Gey guys,

I'm new and I have a problem witg Open Boradcaster Studio -> I want to Record with OBS and save it onto my Computer, but the quality of the Recordings is very bad. Alot of people out there suggestet to put the bitrate up, but I already tried up to 7000 and it didnt get better.

How can I configure OBS for good quality? Are there Guids for it?

Simple output mode, indistinguishable quality, software low cpu use encoder.

I already tried that but for some reason while I play everithing is ok, but when I play the File it is very laggy.

Post your OBS log from the session where you tried it.

You didn't choose the low cpu use software encoder.

Do I need to? The CPU is one of the newest and should not have any problems with that little load! Where can I change it and what does it do?

In the output settings in simple output mode. It reduces the CPU use for encoding the frames at the cost of increased file size.

Strange, in German the Settings look completly diffrent:

I didn't say to use "Same as stream" for quality, that's for sure.

Use Indistinguishable as the quality like I said to.
And don't save directly to mp4.

It's already set to Indistinguishable, which format would be better than mp4?
