Question / Help Quake 2 Rtx wont hook with game capture

I have tried every setting that I can think of and this game will not hook with game capture. All I get is a black screen. It does show up however if I use display capture. Any help would be appreciated, cause at this moment I am quite stumped

Is Quake 2 RTX a vulkan-only game?

I think it is vulkan-only. I guess obs doesn't support game capture for vulkan-renderers? Display capture may be the only way, currently.

edit: Vulkan support is being worked on, fwiw, but no release date on the horizon. https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/pull/2156
