Question / Help QSVHelper.exe has exited because the encoder was not initialized

I'm trying to use Quick Sync. On starting the capture I fail with the topic message. Here's the log I'm getting:

Ah, I see. So I was trying to use my laptop to get a sense of how well Quick Sync works.
I've done some streaming with my desktop, which is quite a bit better, but AMD (Phenom 955) and the encoding turned out pretty bad. I'm thinking it might be time for an upgrade. Do you have any experience encoding with Quick Sync? Would you recommend it?

could anyone please provide me with any assistance. I am having this problem, I have a intel pwntium 2020M @2.4GHz. any help with a fix or a way around this would be awesome, thanks
