Question / Help Q.? w/ C985 and game capture

Can you Game Capture for a source but have the AverMedia Live Gamer HD [c985] Do the encoding for it?
Could this be done? Or is that not a feature; yet, or at all.

EDIT : I would love to have this feature or so cause I like to have the ability to click links that the viewers might have to better interact with them, But not have the OBS share the entire screen like with Video Capture Device. It would just stay on the game, Lets say Minecraft.
Someone has a link to show me, and with Game capture, The game will stay on the streaming screen.
Someone has a link to show me, and with Video Capture Device, The Game will minimize along with my actions and display the link which could be adult based, and get me in trouble with the Twitch service.

You don't want to use the hardware encoder on the Live Gamer HD. It's awful. Really, it's absolutely terrible. Not worth it at all.

Game capture is arguably faster than a capture card, anyway, so you might as well not use the capture card at all, if you're afraid of showing your desktop wallpaper to the stream.
