PTZ Network Video Distorted

Let me first say that this does not happen all the time but definitely enough to be considered a problem. The video distorts in the preview/program windows. The PTZ camera is connected via the network and set up as a media source. I believe the problem to be OBS related because while distortion occurs in OBS. I can access the camera in Google Chrome using the IP address and it is clear. I also can access the camera using SplitCam and get a clear feed. I have reset all equipment and it continues. Then I can come back the next week and prepare to live stream and it is fine. Any advice?

real-time video encoding is VERY computationally demanding. And you can add to OBS overall system demand via various plugins (that your other camera monitoring software don't entail)

What are you doing for real-time monitoring of hardware resource (CPU, GPU, RAM, Disk I/O, etc) utilization [for ex. using Task manager’s Performance tab and/or Resource Monitor] to see if your system is being maxed out with your settings
