PTZ Controller Dockable Plugin in OBS 27

I keep having a camera response delay when I start streaming. You click on a camera location or directional movement on the controller and it might take 2 minutes before it moves to that location or in that direction. I don't seem to have this issue using the camera controls with the camera during setup but sometimes have this to happen once I've connected to my output streaming connection, like YouTube or Facebook. Wondering if anyone can help me with this issue. Thanks!

OBS Studio doesn't include a PTZ controller so I'm assuming you are using a plugin.. right? And different PTZ cameras use different protocols, though VISCA over IP is somewhat common

For our House of Worship, I have the Panasonic NDI PTZ camera (so video and controls over single Ethernet cable), and I use Panasonic's Virtual USB driver and Camera controller, vs integration into OBS

So, for anyone to help, please provide a lot more info like camera, camera controller software, whether connected via NDI, SDI, HDMI, etc

I'm new to all this, trying to learn along the way. Yes, as the title states I'm using the PTZ Optics dockable plugin controller in OBS studio 27.0.1. We have the PTZ Optics 20x camera over IP. I have set everything according to suggested protocols to the best of my knowledge, and YouTube videos and etc. I was hoping someone may have experienced this too and has been able to resolve.

I was just streaming to YouTube only and would have this happen about 50% of the time, with the camera responding as normal for half of those streaming periods, and other half I would have a consistent delay of different times, with one time in particular, it was 2 minutes and 10 seconds. The camera would consistently respond 02:10 after I had clicked on a controller movement. I have added the multi streaming plugin to add Facebook and still have the same results with camera delay part of the time.

Just a clarification - your Title same PTZ controller, which is NOT the same as PTZ Optics controller
PTZ is an industry standard term for Pan Tilt Zoom. And there are hardware and software controllers made by most mid-level and up PTZ camera manufacturers.
Sorry, this is technical, and getting terminology wrong can lead you or those you are talking to astray. just an FYI

As for your specific situation: OBS v27 is brand new.. I've held off upgrading for now until software gets a bit more stable, and 3rd party plugins have a chance to update as well (if required). so
1. have you asked PTZOptics about compatibility?
2. are you doing basic monitoring of hardware resource (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc) utilization [for ex. using Task manager’s Performance tab and/or Resource Monitor] to see if your system is being maxed out with your settings?
- you could have upgraded to OBS v27 and something pushed your system into bottlenecking. And what you are experiencing in term sof camera responsiveness is just a symptom of a PC (or some portion) at its limit?
