I have tried to do local recordings with PS4 party chat and I have the snowball hooked up and everything but I cant hear the party in the recordings. I have the Elgato Chat Link if that is needed but I cant seem to find out! I have the Astro A40s PC edition and they only have the jack not a usb port please help!

1. If you aren't using OBS Studio, then switch to it.
2. The Elgato chat link is hooked up to the soundcard in your system. Do you have it physically set EXACTLY how they describe it?
3. If you do, then add an audio input source to OBS, and select the line in (or whatever port you plugged the Elgato Link Chat into) as the source. You should get the party chat that way.

If you vary in anyway from the above, then you'll need to post a diagram/drawing/detailed description of how you have it setup.

Okay I switched to OBS Studio but I don't know what to do from here and I no longer have audio in my recordings.
