Hey, haven't spent a lot of time on the forums.
I recently purchased an Elgato capture card HD60 Pro in hopes of streaming PS4 gameplay and branching out of just PC gameplay while still being able to use OBS, being able to use Twitch Alerts and play music from my PC.
My issue is the only way to be able to hear my PS4 gameplay and hear sound from my PC for playing music and hearing when I get a follower is to use my line in port. Pretty much turning the PS4 into a microphone to pick up the gameplay. The only thing is that it can be a little janky. Mostly when it comes to charging my controller creating a massive hissing sound. Since that is the better port compared to my monitor since the was a constant although quieter hiss when inserting the AUX cable. So it pretty much came down to quiet constant hissing or having some down time on stream while I charged my controller.
I heard purchasing an audio mixer is one of the better methods which I am lead to believe most of the bigger console streamers do. So they have full control of PC volume, console volume and ,mic volume. Although minus the mic for me.
My main issue is that the isn't any tutorials for setting one up so I am not totally sure if it is the fix I am looking for. Most I come across is mostly for setting up a mic to work with the PS4 and not the PC. Which I don't need since I already have an audio interface to capture my voice for my streams.
Can anyone confirm this for me or point me in the right direction of a guide since I am wondering how the setup process goes?
If anyone can recommend me anything that would help me get past these little annoyances that would be great help.
Thanks in advance.
