Hey everyone!

So I have an El Gato HD60 and it is currently rigged to both my PC and my PS4. Streaming using OBS and everything is going well except I am not sure how to get around having sound from both my PC and PS4. If I leave my headset plugged into my PC I can't hear the PS4 unless I change it under advanced audio settings HOWEVER there is about a 2 second sound delay. If I just plug my headset into my monitor I can hear the game but cannot hear PC (Music for stream, followers, etc...).

Is there any way to have my headset plugged into my PC and be able to hear BOTH the PS4 sound as well as sounds from my PC without any lag/delay? I feel like there has to be a way but I'm just not sure how. Any answers would be so greatly appreciated!!!

Appreciate the link! However my issue isn’t with PS4 chat. I want to be able to hear ps4 gameplay audio while also hearing my PC audio at the same time

The way to do this is to plug your headset into the PS4 and split the audio so that one set of cables goes to your headset and the other goes to your PC for capture. There is no way to monitor audio from OBS in a way that does not introduce at least a little bit of delay-- enough to notice that sounds in the game are being heard after the action that caused them, but that's noticeable even if it's only a few tens of milliseconds.

2 seconds of delay is a lot, though, if things are performing normally you should not have that much lag. It's possible to get roundtrip good quality audio and video from a console, into a PC, out to mixer.com using FTL and back again for monitoring with 2-3 seconds of lag, you shouldn't be getting 2 entire seconds just on hardware capture of audio from a console.

Thanks for the reply! Alright so guess it's time for me to get some sort of splitter. Any suggestions on which one to get?
