Question / Help PS4 Audio Muffled - Razer Ripsaw Capture Card

Hi there,

I'm using the Razer Ripsaw external capture card to capture my console gameplay.

The audio is muffled with OBS Studio. The audio is not muffled with OBS Classic (did a bit of testing back and forth).

I've tried lowering my mic in the Mixer Audio Properties to 2 and that still doesn't help. My mic is clear but my PS4 audio doesn't have any improvement.

I've noticed that on the main window of Studio that the Console audio bar does not move at all. I've even tried to add a Gain Filter to it with no effect.

What can I do?

Update: I've changed the Audio Output of the Capture Card to Output desktop audio (WaveOut) and that does help.

Problem is I don't want the console sound coming through my PC speakers but it seems to be the only way for the recording/stream game sound not to be muffled.

I also still have to lower my microphone to 45 in the Mixer so that it doesn't overpower the game sound.

Any advise?

Hey there,

Still really need help with this. This alone is basically keeping me from using Studio and I really wanna use it. The audio from my capture card does not come through. I've even tried outputting it to my desktop audio via both DirectSound and WaveOut and neither had any sound at all.
