Question / Help Projector Preview Stuttering - Using Preview for Capture card

So I have this issue and I am using Projector mode as a way of solving it. What is occurring is when I am previewing using projector mode to the capture card screen or to any screen for that matter, it does so at 60fps but it seems to stutter. It comes and goes but keeps the stream from looking as fluid when compared to when I duplicated the display.

Windows 10
Nvidia driver 355.98
GTX 780

I would love to duplicate my display but when launching games, my display driver crashes and restarts which can take up to 2 minutes some times. I have yet to resolve the issue but it's either a driver issue with Windows 10 or something to do with my Graphics card. Either way here are the reasons why I am using Projector Preview with OBS on the gaming computer.

I currently cannot duplicate my display because of the following:

1. Main monitor is 144hz and windows changes it to 60hz when duplicating to the display.

2. Duplicating display causes the display driver to crash. It occurs in Windows 10 (I will be attempting to do a fresh install of Windows 8.1 to see if the issue no longer occurs. It could be a hardware issue I guess.) and happens when I launch a game or when I close a game. If it does not happen when launching the game then it will happen when closing it.

Alternatives

If this is a known issue with the preview occasionally stuttering, (Note: only the preview stutters. When I looking at the recording that's saved on the gaming PC, the preview it looks like a smooth 60fps) then there are two solutions I know of that would actually work better if I can get them to work.

RTMP server: I can't seem to get this ish to work on Windows 10. I have a Windows 7 installation and will attempt to set it up there to see if it works. If I can get the nginx to run then I would actually prefer this out of any other solution.

Revert to Windows 8.1 on the gaming PC to fix Nvidia Crashing: I purchased an addition ssd for one of the PC's. I will be reinstalling Windows on both due to having to switched them around.

If anyone has any suggestions anything would be helpful at this point I guess I will have to just deal with the stuttering of the preview mode.
