Question / Help Progressive audio delay in OBS

I seem to be having an issue with audio becoming more out of sync over time. I'm really not sure what the deal is. It is never delayed in my capture software so why is it delayed in OBS? I use a DVI+optical audio to HDMI converter with an Avermedia HD capture card. Any insight anyone could provide would be much appreciated.

Is it a USB device? If so, you need to turn on "use buffering" (at 0) in the source's properties.
