So I did some skimming throughout the forums and couldn't find a thread related to this. Apologies if this question has been answered before. I've been using OBS for a couple months and just realized that I can create custom profiles for different situations! Great! However Naming the profile, adding a profile, renaming it and removing profiles are completely grayed out. So I can't even create my first profile. Is there a trick to "enable" profile creation? Am I missing something right in my face? Probably. A little help would be great even though I'm sure this is a noobish problem easily resolved by greater minds.

No I understood the concept of simply typing a name in to start a new profile however, yesterday when I posted this OBS wouldn't let me type a name in at all. It was grayed out as well. Now today, I try it and well... I can type the name in and save the profile. I have no idea why I wasn't able to yesterday. /confused
Thanks for the compliment, glad you got it figured out. I can't remember specifically, but I'm pretty sure that I did that mostly just as a safety precaution. You're generally not allowed to change most settings while streaming, so creating a new profile would basically change everything (sort of). Somewhat of a design quirk.
