Problems with VHS to digital transfers

Hello, over the last few weeks I have been transferring my family's old VHS tapes and others into a digital format using an RCA to USB wire and OBS as the capture platform. I have one odd problem though. For some reason after the transfer is complete when I play back the videos an odd "clicking" sound is present. This sound does not appear while I am recording and listening to the video playing back so its not the tapes or the wire. Something is happening in the flies I would have to assume. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

This is the wire that I am using:

Welcome aboard.

You should provide us with an obs logfile showing such VHS tape transfer.

Additional you could provide a short example (couple of seconds, just as needed) of such video uploaded to YT or so...

Thanks for the info.

Here is a link to a few seconds that I just put on youtube. In the video you can hear that clicking noise. It is not present when I am recording the tapes. Only after I'm done and I play the files back.

I think this is the log file. hopefully, that works.

According to cyclemat, yes.

Your obs is set to 48k audio rate, your converter to 44.1k instead.
Try to change it in windows sound settings. If that fails, set obs to 44.1k instead.

And change your obs video settings to 25fps, please. You set' it to 60fps while the converter only delivers 25p. It should match.

Tried changing all of those settings and Still have that sound over the tapes. Starting to think that I might need to try a different converter.

I actually downloaded a free video editing software and I am not having that same problem anymore.

OBS is the only program that is giving me that feedback. Not sure why. Its a shame because I'll probably need to subscribe to one of this editing software like premier but that program does not give me any problems. I can capture my VHS's fine.
