Problems with USB devices

I use OBS with Zoom to conduct online piano lessons. My setup includes 4 Logitech 920C pro webcams and a document camera. I have an up to computer with lots of RAM, Widows 10, a good graphics card, and lots of USB ports, and a powered USB hub. I have problems with my webcams frequently disenabling. Are there any steps I can take to make sure that my webcams will work when I need them?

USB is still a bit tight for video. One works, but not 4 unless they're not-so-good to start with.

Unless you somehow have a separate controller for each video source. That can work. But you really do need a separate controller, not just port. Most systems have one, maybe two controllers, and an internal hub from there to all the ports. Only 1 video source across all of those ports, because they all go back to 1 controller.
