Question / Help Problems with stream (XB1)

So I'm a new user to OBS, I'm used to streaming simple games off of Xsplit (I'm a pleeb). I'm trying to stream my xbox one games through the xbox remote app on my laptop. Just need help so I can have the display from my xb1 show up on obs.

Not 100% sure what you are trying to do, but you can record the Xbox remote app in OBS by creating a scene and choosing Game Capture device. Then, in the properties of the capture, make sure you are capturing a specific window, and then choose the window in which you would like to record(Xbox remote app).
