I am using a UEC USB video capture device connected to my Sony Handycam
Using the camera's S-video port I am capturing a video playing from the camera.
To get the audio, I connect to the headphone jack of the camera
Initially, I was getting Audio into my computer and a few recordings I did last week were capturing Audio
I was curious whether or not I might be able to get sound coming out of the computer so was researching that last week.
On Friday I found a guy who had a bunch of OBS Tutorials and listened to one about sound The next day when I watched the video I had recorded Friday, the OBS Tutorial ruined my recording so I wanted to repeat that recording
Sunday AM I checked my computer and as expected, the ruined by the OBS Tutorial video was there and so I listened to him again and this time I understood that I had to go into Advanced audio properties and set to Monitor and output .
When I did that on the computer and played a video, I was thrilled to hear my sound from the video.
I recorded a whole tape successfully, but every time I try to re-record the ruined video I get no sound no matter how I change the settings,
