Question / Help Problems with older webcam

It appears to be flooding the log file with errors, and the video -- although the camera works -- appears "sparkly" for lack of a better description.
I can find no drivers -- even though I've searched using the hardware ID

USB\VID_0C45&PID_6340&REV_0000&MI_00
USB\VID_0C45&PID_6340&MI_00

The errors start and stop with the camera.

Any suggestions?
(other than "get a new camera" -- which will happen as soon as I can)
