I am using a laptop and its running a Nvidia Geforce GTX 755m video card. I am trying to stream games on twitch but OBS gives a black screen when I use game or window capture, and when I use moniter capture a section of my screen is not captured. I have already troubleshooted with the thread on dual video cards and laptops. Please help!

You must post a log. Game capture also depends on the game. If you're trying to stream an old game, game capture won't pick it up because the game's graphics API is too old.

If however the game is more recent and common, then you most likely still did not configure your laptop settings correctly. Can't know without a log however. Please make sure that you preview at least twice in the log file if possible.

Okay, so let's try this again then: In your nvidia control panel, go to 3D settings as per usual. Then click the "global" or however named tab on the right side. Then, force all applications to run on the nvidia. That should help prevent the issue from occurring. Let me know how it goes, and give me a log from it if there's any issues (and if possible have at least two previews in it)
