Question / Help Problems with NVENC Encoder and my video editor

I have not had this issue until recently, and I'm not sure which OBS update or nVidia update may have caused it. Please comment if you have any ideas. Thank you in advance for your support!

What I am Trying To Do:
As I have done in the past, I want to record my gameplay with the NVENC encoder, which gives me better performance during gameplay than when I use my CPU(x264), and then run the recorded file through my video editor (PowerDirector12) to then upload "highlight reels" to YouTube.

Problem:
Recently, when I record using NVENC @ 1080p, the file is playable through my media player with no issues and is crystal clear. However, once I import it into PowerDirector12 and then produce the video into a MPEG4 or H.264AVC file (both 1080p), the final video comes out grainy and you can barely read the text within the game footage.

I know it's not the editing software, because I have ran other videos through it to test other options, and the final video comes out clear. I can record the video with OBS using x264 encoder and use the same editing process as before, and the video comes out clear as well. I opened FRAPS again for the first time in a long while, and recorded a segment with that, and ran it through the same editing process again, and it came out clear.

The only time the file comes out of PowerDirector12 "fuzzy" is when the input file was recorded in OBS with NVENC. and again, I remind you that the output file from OBS before it goes into the editor, is perfectly clear as well (Even with NVENC)

Strange you say? I thought so too...

For additional info, here is my PC setup:
Windows 7
AMD Phenom(tm) X4 965 Processor 3.40 GHz
64-bit
8GB DDR3 RAM
GeForce GTX 650 Ti (640 CUDA Cores / 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5) (Latest Driver: 358.50)
SSD for the output file destination

Game being recorded: Eve Online
Editing Software: PowerDirector12 (full version, fully up to date)

There might be an option for that through there. I'm not sure what all will be needed for that, but you will need to go back through versions.

Nvidia broke nvenc in their drivers recently (not sure how recently)

Sounds more like wrong settings in PowerDirector.
It's not. I tested it extensively. MPEG files reproduce perfectly clear except when using an NVENC recording from OBS.

My hunch is that it's either nVidia's recent updates or the game's recent updates.

Also, PowerDirector was never updated from the time I was having success to the time I started having problems. The programs that did patch in between that time frame were OBS, nVidia drivers, and Eve Online.
