Question / Help Problems with installing OBS.

When i try to install OBS it gives me this message to begin with:

Error opening file for writing:
C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\OBS.Exe

Click Abort to stop the installation,
Retry to try again, or
Ignore to skip this file.

And if i ignore it comes up with more file names:
Libx264-142.dll
QSVHelper.exe
OBSApi.dll
OBSNvenc.dll
dbhhelp.dll
Noisegate.dll
Dshowplugin.dll
Graphicscapture.dll
PSVPlugin.dll
GraphicsCaptureHook.dll
And some more....

What can i do about this problem?
 
Check your user account control. If you used the installer, did it ask you to "allow the following program to make changes to this computer"?
Sometimes a PC restart can also help to make sure OBS is completely closed.
 
Hmm, very strange, so you got the UAC dialog and allowed it through, right?
You could check if your anti virus might be blocking it or if nothing helps, download the binaries (from the download page) those can be extracted wherever you want and then just start OBS from there.
