I've tried doing a preview stream in obs to see if everything is working ok for me to try and stream h1z1. and everything will be fine for a short bit, good fps in game,30fps in obs,but then my frame rate plummits down to 1-5 fps in the preview window and everything looks very choppy and laggy in video. But, In game my fps is still decent. So far this is the only game I've run into this issue with. And I am running window capture in windowed fullscreen as Ive read by other suggestions for this particular game.

Specs if it matters-

i5 3570k 3.4 ghz
GTX 680 4gb edition
16 gb ddr3 at 1600mhz

Log- (I'm new to logs and obs forums so forgive me if I'm doing this wrong)

https://gist.github.com/39367e165afe02a2f6fa

It keeps saying hook conflict detected but i have no idea what that means,it mentioned overlays and such but i removed steam overlay from this game already and idk of any other overlay program my computer would be using.

sounds like im having the same problem....im just trying to record gameplay with a mic and webcam... also im using 2 monitors, one showing what im recording and the 2nd has obs and other.. my problem is that when i start the game everything is fine. then i go to obs and start recording everything still fine... but when i click back on the game and can hear game audio again my fps drops from 45-60fps to 10 - 24fps but only on the obs recording side and not the game or anything else, the game is running fine... cpu never going above 70 or 80 total on usage.. can anyone help??
