PROBLEMS SWITCHING FROM ONE PROFILE OR SCENE COLLECTION TO ANOTHER

Everytime i try to switch from my 1080 streaming profile to and 4k recording profile it messes my whole streaming profile up,i have to go back and resize everything and basiclly have to re design my whole stream. I was told that it may be because im using nvidia broadcast or the fact that im using a elgato face cam pro that is ran by the camrea hub app. Someone PLEASE HELP ME figure out a fix for this,it would be greatly appreciated

Export your scene collections and load them back in when they get messed up. You should have both a 1080 profile and scene collection and a 4k profile and scene collection, if you don't already.

i def wish i would of thought of that earlier lol but im really trying to find a fix for the whole situation so i can use my OBS like everyone else. I really appreciate that tip that,that will most def help until i do figure this out. If u or anyone else has any other options please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated again!!!!

That is pretty much how everyone uses obs. The scenes will stay at their scale so once you swap the resolution back they should go back to normal. There's no way to get everything to just scale automatically as far as I know, with the way you're doing it.

You would need to run native 4k downscaled to 1080 in obsto get it to work the way you want

so then im not having any problems? lol this is just how OBS works? If So how do i go back without having to resize everything? I dont understand why this would be that hard to just swtich profiles without everything changing. Would u be willing to help me figure this out over a phone call? ill give u my number and u can call private. I will pay u to figure this out

If you’re changing your canvas resolution profile to profile this will happen. Use downscaling instead of changing the base canvas resolution.
