Question / Help Problems streaming League of Legends

Hi guys, I know there's a bunch of threads out there for this, but I'm completely new to streaming, so I don't understand a lot of the things that are being said in those threads.

Currently, I have no problems at all streaming games such as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Tomb Raider, Hitman: Absolution, and Batman: Arkham Asylum. I have the graphics settings for all of those games on either high or very high, and experience no in game or on stream FPS lag. But for League of Legends, the game says I have 60 FPS, but is noticeably choppy on my monitor. I've tried changing the in game graphics settings to very low, and the problem still persists.

I know that's not a lot of information to go on, but I have no idea what else I would need to provide. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Try using game capture. Have LoL open, set game capture in the scene, and then set the proper window. You might need to right click it afterwards and select "fit to screen"

Edit: Monitor capture, when Windows Aero is enabled will drop the look of the screen to 30 FPS. Your game might be running at 60, but you'll only see half of it. Direct capture, instead of a screen region, will not only look better, and fix your problem, But it'll use less resources as well.

In regards to Aero, I do have the option to disable Aero checked in OBS. Your recommendation to use Game Capture worked, but it seems that the FPS lag doesn't happen only when I have preview turned off. Is that something that is normal?

the preview Can do it, it's not very common though. Once you're okay with your settings, just keep the preview off and you're golden. Don't disable Aero, it helps with window/game capture.
