Sorry if I seem a little uneducated on the topic, but the gist of it is I decide to use the mkv format to record my videos, then remux them over to mp4. Problem is, whenever I do this, the resulting mp4 is without audio. Any help?
Thanks for the responses, but I recently solved my problem by just using ffmpeg. For those curious cats, I used the OBS function for remuxing to mp4, and played the subsequent files in VLC Media Player.
What is FFMpeg? I saw it in there, but I thought that was a 3rd party app, is it built into this software, or do I need to download/install it first? I could just try it but I'm scurred lol. Thanks!
OBS Studio has an option to remux ".flv/.mkv" files to ".mp4", so you don't really need FFMPEG. To remux your vídeos just open OBS an go to "File -> Remux recordings"
