Hi everyone,
as I mentioned earlier in this forum we are using OBS as a playout platform in our community cinema in my hometown.
(We do not stream)
We are playing movies with a wide variety of framerates by using the HMDI out of a pc (second screen) and a beamer.
One evening 25 fps, the other evening 24fps and so on.
When preparing a performance whe of course choose the correct framerate within OBS and for the HDMI Output as well.
Now we noticed a fundamental problem. After about 20-25min. there a heavy shutter effects for about 1-1,5 min, therafter video and audio are not in sync anymore. After another 20-25min. the same procedure.
So this evening at the end of a 2hour30min movie (24 fps) audio was about 150ms to 200ms late I guess. (or video to early).
Does anyone know whether this is a general problem of OBS or whether this problem is evident only with specific framerates?
is there any idea or advice to solve this huge problem?
Any advice is very appreciated.
