So apparently when I mimic the display from my BenQ monitor which can do 144hz to my streaming pc it becomes forced to 60hz

I understand that I need to be streaming in 60hz and that's great, But I thought I would be able to keep the 144hz for my own personal gaming experience WHILE still sending a duplicate of the display in 60hz to my streaming PC.

Here is what nvidia control panel is showing me..

The option to change the hz becomes grey.

Any ideas?

From The Helping Squad -
Another problem for 120/144hz Monitor-Users arises if you want to do a 2 PC-Setup using a capture-card. Any capture-card below ~500-1000$ will be limited to 60 or 30 hz input. A splitter is in this case no option as it would limit you to the 60hz for both the Monitor and the Capture-Card. Fortunately NVIDIA users can clone their desktop to two displays with different hz settings. Using the NVIDIA control panel you can first clone your main desktop so its being output to the Monitor and the Capture Card and then you should be able to configure the Monitor to use 120/144hz while your Capture Card should receive 60hz.

So I reverted my setting back inside the windows resolution side
Went into nvidia control panel and made my main clone to the capture card. Capture card now has a grey 144hz
but it seems that since it's via hdmi cable, it just reverts and is forced in 60hz

So I think my problem is solved :P
