Hello, I'm new on twitch and using OBS, I got good pc and internet connection but can't stream with bitrates more than 1000 - I don't know why :( Quality of stream is poor, I want to stream 720p. I set bitrate to 3500/3500 and my stream is totally unwatchable like that (buffering all the time, freezes and lags) :

Bitrate of 3500 is part of your problem.

"Buffering Hell" starts at about 2000kbit for your video bitrate because of routing issues between the twitch servers and your viewers.

Also, don't use custom buffer size. The default works better.

So what I should put there for my stream quality looks like 720p and don't lag? When I tried 1000/1000 bitrate/buffer lags gone but quality when I'm running on screen is such a crap. Above 1000 lags and freeze starts more often

2000kbit is about as high as you're going to get. Only a small percentage of viewers get the buffering hell at 1000kbit which is why that works for you watching your own stream (which you should NOT do on the same computer you're streaming from). The large majority of viewers are fine up to 2000kbit video bitrates, with an ever increasing number of viewers having problems as you get closer to 3500.

I know, I don't tested it from that same pc, I used brother's laptop and also my iphone twitch app. Still that same. What bitrate should I use?

I'd recommend using 2000kbit and adjusting the x264 preset towards the slower-sounding presets until game performance suffers.

If you're having trouble watching while set above 1000kbit on your own connection, there is probably something else going on outside of your settings interfering.
