Question / Help Problem with Software Capture since extra GPU added.

A couple of days ago I plugged in a 3rd monitor to my integrated GPU, which I haven't used before (the GPU). Now I have monitor 1 & 2 connected to my GTX 680 and monitor 3 connected to my HD 4000 (only way to do it without adapters). Now OBS can't capture certain content in certain windows for some reason, changing Video Adapter to the HD 4000 instead of the GTX 680 changes nothing except that I can't Monitor Capture monitor 1 & 2 with HD 4000 selected. I can capture any of the 3 monitors when I have my GTX 680 set as Video Adapter in OBS.

This is an example of what the problem is: When I try to capture this Chrome window: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11640961/2013-0 ... -19-57.png in OBS it shows an old frame from the "content" part of the window, it shows this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11640961/2013-0 ... -21-15.png . It captures my mouse fine if I drag it over the window and selecting the address in the address field shows in OBS, just not the "content" part. It updates the frame in OBS if I minimize the window and bring it up again.

I'm running Windows 8. The log is from when I previewed the stream and switched between the 3 Monitor Captures, GTX 680 selected as Video Adapter in OBS.

If I disable the HD 4000 the screens goes black for about 0.5 sec and then back to normal and Software Capture works as usual in OBS, but it does disable my 3rd monitor. When I enable it again the screens goes black for about 0.5 sec and then back to normal as before but then Software Capture doesn't work on those windows again. On IRC someone said DWM runs on the integrated GPU, I guess that's why the screens flash when enabling/disabling it.

But why does Monitor Capture work? I mean I can capture -any- monitor when the GTX 680 is selected in OBS, even the one running on the integrated one. Vice versa does not work. Capturing KVIrc (a IRC client) works fine so it's only certain windows that can't be captured. Chrome can be captured but only address bar and buttons, not content.

I don't have any "vital" stuff on my 3rd monitor but it would be nice to be able to use Software Capture on all windows without having to disable the integrated GPU. This could be unfixable tho, without Microsoft doing anything. I have searched for ways to force DWM to run on my dedicated GPU but haven't found anything.

Hello, I too have the same problem.

I have 2 screens connected to my GPU (GTX 560ti) and my 3rd connected to the motherboard (HD4000).
When I try to do "window capture" the picture is just frozen.

Since this is from April, I was wondering if you have found a solution to the problem.

Regards.
