Question / Help Problem with resolution

I have been trying to record with this program and I like it a lot, but for some reason it only records the top left square of my computer instead of the whole screen, like I want it to. I already tried changing the video settings, but it keeps recording just the top left part of the screen. I also tried to set to
reset the cropping but it didn't do anything. Help please!

Post your logfile, you probably have a custom resolution set in the video tab of OBS.

I just uninstalled and re-downloaded OBS and the problem is persisting. I switched the resolution on the video settings to 1920 x 1080, the resolution of my computer, but it was broken even before I changed the settings...

set your monitor to 1280x720 or select monitor 1 in the video tab of OBS.

I've tried those. When I set the resolution to 1280x720 the same happens, just more zoomed in. When I try to set monitor 1 and apply it, it returns to custom resolution and I can't change it to that option.

set it to what your monitor res is, remove the moniotor capture then re-add it

I already tried that. My monitor resolution is 1920 by 1080, the setting I changed it to. And every time I delete and re-add a monitor capture it stays the same
weird. Your log shows something is set to 1280x720. If you have everything set to 1080 then set your base back to 1080. I don't know what else could it be.

do you have switchable graphics?
