Problem with my recording ¿FPS?

Hi, I have the problem when I record (local record, no streaming) a game, the game run perfectly fine at 60 fps (1080p) but when I finish and check the results, it seems the video have low FPS in certainly parts. I check if the problem was the game but no, it says 60 FPS at all time and there is no overload because the CPU/GPU always run at 35-55%. And the game isn't even heavy.

I tried with other recording programs and happens anyway like windows game dvr/xbox and no matter what I do, what configuration I touch in OBS, if low/high bitrate, low/high quality, choose between the CPU (i5 4590) or the GPU (RX 570 4GB) for recording, Iowing game graphics, disabled game mode from Windows, etc., I TRIED EVERYTHING that you can think because I look in the forum and other places through Google.

So, what I think is... Maybe can be my SSD (Crucial BX 500 240GB) the problem? I will explain. I have this PC for 3 years with a HDD 1TB (WD Blue) and always works great (never try really to record my gameplays years ago, just record a few minutes and didn't notice this problem, anyway was a long time ago). I decide to buy an SSD to improve the perfomance and I install only Windows 10 and essential programs in it and the rest in the HDD. Then after 1 month of use it start to have some weird problems. For example, Windows 10 at first, initiates withing 15-25 seconds more or less (fast like any SSD right?), but now it took 5-10 MINUTES since I touch the power button. After that, at first, the system freezes whenever I try to do any simple thing (like second click a folder), but when I repeat this action again, it happens fast, like a normal SSD. The majority of the time works fine the PC, but this problems keep continuing every day. I try everything to solve this problem too but nothing works, looking through the BIOS, updating any program/driver and windows, changing the SATA cable, etc. This SSD only have 3 months of use. I don't know if it's broken or what, all tests (like SSD Benchmark, CrystalDisk Info, and other more I forgot) says that the SSD is fine and is fast like any other of his type, but in practice that doesn't happen, like if it were a problem of write/read. So the question is, this problem that have my SSD, can interfere with my recordings causing low fps in the video but not in-game? Can be a problem of write/read of the disk?

More info: I installed OBS Studio in the SSD disk (C:) and try it on the HDD disk (D:) too, but the problem persist. The games are installed in the HDD, separately from the operative system.

I hope can understand my problem and can reach the with the problem, I upload log files but I don't know if are the correct, so any additional info needed, ask me.

Sorry for double post (don't know if I can/can't) but it was on the 6 page and nobody see it. Somebody have an idea about the problem that my SSD have, it can influence my recordings frames? I clarify, this problem of stuttering/low fps only happens in specific parts of the game, like if the game were the problem but I check with MSI Afterburner and all is fine, good temperatures in GPU/CPU and not overload or FPS drop. I just want to know WHAT is the problem because I can't find it.

This isn't a forum for fixing computers. This is a forum for OBS Studio. If you feel you are having problems with your computer and you are not computer tech savvy, go take it into a computer repair shop.

My question is if the SSD can interfere in any form in the recording program called OBS Studio. I don't want to fix anything first, I want to know WHAT is causing the problem of stuttering in my recordings. I was looking for a yes/maybe or no answer. If nobody here know about that, then ok, thanks anyway and I will take my PC to a repair shop WHEN I CAN, of course I want to take her to a repair shop, but I can't at the moment because of COVID.

OBS is not reporting any issues with rendering or encoding lag. If your SSD was causing issues, it would show up as frames lost due to encoding lag -- you do not have this.

What program are you using to play back the videos? If you're using the standard Movies&TV app, it has issues playing back high framerate recordings. VLC should be used instead.

Thanks for answer! I was thinking the same but the sad thing is I'm already using VLC Player, and happens anyway with Movies&TV app and Windows Media Player. I upload small videos with the error on YouTube to check if it's still there and yes, it's there. Maybe I can try to record again and create a new log file, maybe says something different if I try for more time.

I tried another thing. I change game capture to screen capture, I tried both before and both works bad, but also I change in "output" to save my recording files on C: disk (SSD) instead of D: disk (HDD) and it stutter a bit at first but it seems this time was the VLC because when I replay it again, the recording was smooth, same reproducing it with Windows Media Player and Movies&TV app, all was fine, no more stuttering. This makes any sense? If it makes and was my mistake, then sorry, didn't know it. And thanks.

Hey guys! The error was still there (didnt know why was working good that day, but now I know), but I really found what was! It was the unique program that I didnt want to close, RivaTurner from MSI Afterburner. MSI manage my GPU speed fan and with Riva I can check the in-game FPS, temps and % usage. I really need MSI because I manage better than AMD software the speed of my GPU fans, so I uninstall only RivaTurner (MSI doesnt bother). It's a shame cause I need that program to check GPU/cpu/ram usage and temps, but well, I'll see what else can use. Thanks for the space.
