Problem with my audio output

Hello guys.

I write this post because I did not find a solution with our best friend Google...

My problem : I have a Corsair Heaphones : Corsai VOID Pro with Surround 7.1. When I'm streaming with OBS alone, I don't have problem. But, when I'm streaming with my friends on discord, their voice generate an echo like if it was in a tunnel. My question is : How resolve this? My viewers told me that they heard me normally but not my friends with this echo. Do you know which parameter(s) I need to change please? Because I don't know if i have to enable 7.1 on OBS or not. I would like the sound be in stereo for my viewers but I want to keep my 7.1 when I stream.

I had a similar problem. I also have a Corsair Void Pro with 7.1 surround. And my friends on discord sounded echoey no matter what I did.

Your post made me guess the issue was my headset. And it was.

In ICE on the headset tab, I turned off Dolby surround and it went to regular stereo and they now sound normal. If your audio output is set to your headset, turning off dolby surround just might do the trick.
