Question / Help Problem with game capture [resolved]

I'm not really sure how to explain it but whenever I try to record Minecraft, I get these bars in the middle of the screen shown here: http://i.imgur.com/tWPvBI0.png. I just have it on game capture. I've tried restarting it and decreasing the resolution but that didn't work.

I think MineCraft has issues with game capture (correct me if I'm wrong) and you need to use software (aka monitor/window) capture for this particular game.

Game capture should work fine on Minecraft, but you have to be in-game first before it will work, as I understand it.

Oh wow, that's new. No, actually minecraft should be working fine, as I have it myself have it, I just tested it to check to make sure, and worked fine on my end with it. Do you run minecraft with any graphical tweaks/enhacements/optimizers at all? Sometimes these things can cause problems. I run mine straight vanilla (I just recently got lost in a jungle)

And yes, you can't use game capture with the login window -- use it after you log in.

I only run it after I'm already in Minecraft. I go in and then press 'e' then start it. I only used the title screen for just a quick picture.

I only use Minecraft vanilla. The only thing I've done with Minecraft is change my skin.

Hm. well, that's odd. Perhaps you can come by chat some time if you have time and I can do some experiments and try to make a build for you that works in the mean time.

I had this same problem. The solution was to update my graphic card drivers.
