Question / Help Problem with "File Output Only" mode

Hello, I am having a problem setting up the recording software to record to a local file instead of streaming. Whenever I try to switch from "Live Stream" to "File Output Only" all I get is this blank box:

If I select browse, and go to my preferred file location, this happens:

As you can see,(1) I have selected the folder I wish to store my videos in,(2) yet it doesnt show up.
If I try to record using these settings, I get this message:

What am I doing wrong? Is there a preset file I need to choose?

For anyone else who might come across this thread:

You have to actually specify a file name as well.

The solution is the same that has already been outlined. Choose a file path and set a proper file name...

Ugh, so in Broadcast settings you click "Browse" next to "File Path", pick a folder, then type in a name, or put a % if you want OBS to generate one based on time/date
