Question / Help problem w/ full view

I have a Blackmagic web presenter and the the base ‘canvas’ and ‘scaled’ resolution in OBS is set to 1280 x 720 but the video signal is cut off on the right side. The outgoing signal to YouTube is similarly truncated. Here is my log:

Your Blackmagic device resolution seems to be set to 640x480, which doesn't match the 16:9 aspect ratio of your output (1280x720), which may introduce black bars into your final output. What resolution are you expecting from your Blackmagic device?

Thanks RytoEX, I was expecting the 1280x720. I had it all up and running, not sure what happened. I'll research how to check/change those settings but in the morning. Thank you for the help.

Hi RytoEX, Sorry for the delay... life. Here is the answer whenever the improper aspect ratio is displayed in OBS. In this instance I am using the Blackmagic Web Presenter but as you will see, this is a fix-all: In OBS, under "Sources" select the source of the signal, in this case a Blackmagic Web Presenter. Click on the settings icon in the Sources box and then select "Custom" in the "Resolution/FPS Type" drop-down. Then, select "Custom." Now the drop-down just below becomes active and you select 1280x720. Thanks for getting me going!
