Question / Help Problem streaming PS1 games on PS3

Hey there.

I bought Metal Gear Solid digitally on the PS store the other day, the plan is to stream it tonight. The thing is though, once I load up the game, it appears blank on OBS. I'm sure it's something simple, any help would be really appreciated. :)

The PS3 has HDCP on the HDMI output.
Many capture devices also have minimum resolutions (a lot of Avermedia stuff can't capture below 640x480 for example, which many older consoles use). If the game is outputting a signal below that, it could cause the issue.

As Harold said though, we need more information. Capture card used, if you're using HDMI with an anti-HDCP measure, or if you're using component/composite output, and what resolution the PS3 is running at.

You can actually go into the System menu and disable specific resolutions to try and 'force' a higher res output, for some games that default to their original resolution (for authenticity). Many will upscale to a higher (possibly capturable) resolution if the original res isn't available per the System setup menu, if that turns out to be the problem.
