Question / Help Problem finding an issue with 50 down / 10 up plan.

I just recently switched from comcast to business comcast and let me tell you, the quality of the service has been completely horrible. I'm paying over $90 for 50 down / 10 up and I'm getting packet loss and my speeds are usually around 5 to 10 down and 1 to 2 up.

I can't even play Path of Exile let alone streaming.

I have an appointment for a tech to come out to my house Tuesday and this isn't the first, I'm on my 10th tech and the problem still isn't resolved.

I swapped out my modems several times and even installed a new cable line or a new "drop" as they call it.

It's not my PC because one of the techs that came, he tested the internet on his laptop and it was a bad connection.

So I don't even know what else to try. I've tried reformatting my computer twice with nothing. I was thinking maybe it has to do with the inside wiring to the line outside because the line to the pole is fine (Since I just got a new line installed).

so if my interior wiring is replaced and my internet still acts up, I'm in trouble.

May I mention this is the only ISP in my area. It's either comcast cable or Verizon DSL.

This is my last hope.

ps ~ Obs is fine, I just wanted to vent here or get help, and maybe find a solution.

Were there any problems before switching over to the Business contract?

If there weren't then the issue is almost definitely at Comcast's end (crappy CMTS, or some such) and how they've got you set up. The physical line between you and their equipment shouldn't have changed*.
You have some benefit in that a business contract will have very specific details on how much up-time you should expect from the connection and it sounds like they're completely failing in their part of the contract right now

(I'm in the UK but Comcast is a DOCSIS platform, much the same as any other in the world).

*Well, it has now because they've pulled a new drop but the issue existed before doing that.

Uh, this problem is clearly on their end. There is nothing you can do aside from keep hounding them to FIX IT. That's why you pay for a business class account. They're required to provide a certain level of service. There is no magic wand to wave client-side that will fix a f***ed up ISP problem. Their tech tested the line on their laptop, and confirmed this is NOT YOUR PROBLEM. They need to fix it. There is nothing you can do but yell at them and keep riding them to fix it ASAP.
