Question / Help problem after raising fps

Hey everybody....thank you...you helped me once....but when i tried to increase fps from 30 to 60 i get lagged frames skipped frames dropped frames or what ever...ill post a log. If you could help me again i would be gratefull

change the bitrate/buf to 2432 and change your server from frankfurt to uk or amesterdam.
also unless you have reason to use mp3 over aac. aac @ 128kbps is just better.

and could i ask you what should i set when i would like to set my resolution to 1680x1050 and 30-60 fps (does not have to be 60fps it can also be less....i just want it to be more than 30)

You can try to set the preset to veryfast if you're going to stream 1680x1050 @ 60 fps (or 45 fps). I think it should be fine for you depending on the game you're going to stream.

cpu usage. veryfast has a better performance to quality ratio. but it doesn't really matter unless you want to do a high resolution, high fps streaming. your bitrate though is not enough for 1680x1050 @ 60 fps

i would just stick to 720p@60fps and rise the quality to 8 at the preset "faster". should be no problem.

any time i set aac instead of mp3 i have that square like a christmas tree changes colors every milisecond and i get frame drops,skips,lags etc everythink...and when i set it back to mp3 i have 0% of those.....know why?

unlike mp3 the lib aac is running at a variable audio bitrate meaning it require way more than a 128kbps peak . 128 is not even the "average" i've seen it going up to 150 kbps on some music. lower aac to 96 or lower the video bitrate. also if you're still on the frarkfurt server change that to something else like the uk or amesterdam.

hilalpro i tried those settings like you told me...every one of them...but simply when i change to aac it starts to lag and stuff......i did not try your settings with mp3 but i dont know when i have it on mp3 it works nice 0 dropped/lagged/skipped frames etc but simply when i turn to aac its just more than 10-20% of those d,l,s frames

well that isn't supposed to happen.. aac 96 uses way less bandwith than mp3 at 128.
can you post a log from when you've used aac 96 ?

here is a log with that 96 aac.....no drops now but the video is absolutely pixelated.....could you tell me why?

ok hilalpro thank you very much with the help....:) .....i just forgot about 1 think....you said i should give it more bitrate....what should i set buffer to if i set 2600 bitrate?
