Problem adding mic to compressor filter

I am having some trouble with adding my audio interfacing (which is just my mic) in the source for the compressor filter

Correction it is my USB audio interface Scarlett solo 3rd Gen with an XLR Mic. For some reason, it does not show up when adding a compressor even though the USB drivers are installed.

Have you added the audio device to OBS in some regard? Audio Input Capture source, or one of the Global 'mic' channels? If you haven't, it won't show up in the list of devices for sidechain ducking.
