Question / Help Preview Stream

Basically I want to test several encoding presets but without actually streaming to twitch. If I press "Preview Stream" does my CPU use as many resources as it would if I streamed normally?

Go to Settings > Broadcast Settings and setup a file path. After you have done this you can use the "Start Recording" button in the main window to just record to file instead of streaming.

Does Start Recording and Start Streaming use the same resources?

Streaming, recording and previewing all use the same amount of CPU.
