Hello and thank you in advance, If anyone has seen a post with my issue please link it, I was unable to find it after about 3 hours of digging through the forums and looking on Google.

I started using OBS a while back and I was able to stream Starbound with no problem. I wanted to start streaming Final Fantasy XIV, I am able to set up the motion cap. (I run the game in borderless window) Whenever I click inside the game window my Preview on OBS stops refreshing until I click back out of the game. To be a little bit more clear, OBS does not crash or freeze. The video freezes. When I stream it does the same thing it would appear as the game froze but it didnt. I am having nothing crash or stop process. I tried to lower settings and that didnt help. Also when I save to file the video works just fine but its grainy.

Edit:

When I do monitor Cap, It will work for about 2-5 seconds then stop refreshing.

You're trying to record 1080p60 with the faster preset. You're going to have a bad time.

Don't stream at 1080p60. Not only is it really hard on your system (as we can see), but it's really hard on viewers, too. Flash is really bad at displaying 1080p60 video to viewers with even moderately powerful computers, and most people won't be able to watch a video at that quality.

And furthermore, you're trying to stream with the faster x264 preset. This makes things even harder on your CPU. So no wonder you're having issues.

Change your x264 preset back to veryfast, and lower your frame rate back to 30, and try again and post another log.

The stalling seem to occur during the preprocessing of your scene are you using window capture with "compatibility mode" by any chance? try disabling that or better yet use "game capture" to grab the game instead.

I changed to game capture mode and lowered my settings, It seemed to work a lot, Now I am trying to find out why my media is grainy even when increasing max bitrate to only record and not broadcast.
