Here I have two monitors, the primary one with 1920x1200 pixel (and a secondary one with 1680x1050). I'm running the game "Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword" in windowed mode with a resolution of 1920x1080.
So my idea was to stream my game to twitch and use the custom base resolution of 1920x1080 in OBS. I also enabled a resolution downscale of 1.50. However, if I do this, I loose the bottom part of my game, it isn't visible neither in OBS' preview nor on twitch. Why is this? If my game is in 1920x1080 and OBS is also using this resolution, why is a part missing?
If I set the base resolution in OBS to 1920x1200 and begin to stream, I have black bars (top and bottom) in OBS' preview window, but my game is completely on the preview screen and on twitch (but now there are black bars left, right, top and bottom on twitch).
What am I doing wrong? I would like to upload screenshots, but the forum seems to have a slight problem ("Could not upload attachment to ./files/1139_5834f19947b936726e63091605ccb414.").
