Question / Help Preview + replay/local recording is stuttering

Hello guys

So I just got a problem WITHOUT changing any settings.
The problem is that the Preview is lagging/stuttering as hell, as well as the stream, replays and local recordings are lagging also.

I have done nothing but making a new scene with a new version of the overlay.
On the video below is when I'm running the normal overlay though, that I've used for a bunch of weeks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXKmMNFr ... e=youtu.be
I just finished a 5h stream w/o any problems > Turned off stream and made a new scene and this happened.

Any ideas?

If you're still using a test version, download the latest release, you're behind in versions.

I'm aware of this.

Thing is; I had some trouble with the new ones. For example; When switching scenes it, instead of fading to the new scene just blinked right into it. It didn't really look good.

However, this should not be the problem since the latest 2 weeks I've been streaming w/o any problems with this version.
Also, I tried the newest version and the problem was still there.

Still no changes done.

Also, the blinking between scenes tends to happen if you have a webcam or capture card NOT set up as a global source, as OBS has to wait for the device to init/switch off as it goes between scenes, then turn it on again if it's in the new scene.

Jim- On a related note, it appears global sources aren't being initialized until they're called in a scene for the first time. Not sure when that changed; I've had to add my webcam to my stream-start splashscreen so it comes up and is ready to switch to a fullscreen-cam after the intro music and all, without the freeze (and some on-init signal weirdness related to my cam's startup) occurring. Kind of goofy knowing that I'm hiding behind the logo. :D
