Prerecord Feature

Would be awesome if there was a Prerecord/buffer option for recording. Right now a few of us are just recording clips as we see fit. But unfortunatly we are limited to MSI Afterburner (AMD graphics) and RivaTuner (ew) to make this function work. Basically it makes a prerecord file that you can set your own buffer rate/prerecord right now it creates a file that is prerecorded 1 min back (how i have it set up) if something cool happens you hit the record button and it will then create another avi file with the already buffered/prerecorded video for however long you leave the record running then you hit the record button again and it saves the file then begins a new buffer. Was wondering if there would be a way this could be implemented through OBS in the future?

The short answer is no, OBS was never intended to be used for instant replay recording of the last [X] seconds. Nothing like this will be implemented in the current version of OBS, while it would definitely be possible for SOMEONE to make a custom output with this sort of functionality for the rewrite.
