I could have just said upload the correct log with the correct detail to show the output. What version of PP are you running as you haven't said? whats your current drive config. does it also lag in other players or just VLC?

Have you tired the output in CBR or VBR instead of CQP?

I'm using NY12 fyi, looking at the log nothing is showing as incorrect within OBS though Harold could spot something.

I'm using I420 and it doesn't lag in windows media player from my experience, but I haven't tried loading all the files in WMP.

My original question isn't if theres something wrong with my settings I was just curious if anyone knew any setting that I was using that could cause major playback lag, which in my opinion doesn't even require logs as I showed pictures of all my settings.

My only ideas were the color settings aka I420 and the b-frames, but I'm not too experienced when it comes to these sorts of things.

As for PP whatever the latest one is. I'm subscribed to the 50 dollar a month thing. co CC 2015 or 2016?

Using H264 video at all can cause major lag in editing software that isn't optimised for it, were your Dxtory recordings also H264 or were they something else?

It's taking OBS 2.881ms to render AND encode each frame. The logs aren't indicating that OBS is at fault.

AVI is just a container, what codec did they contain?

I've used lagarith lossless codec and the magicYUV codec and a few others.

I guess premiere/vlc sucks balls at reading my files then. Idk. I was just curious if you guys knew what settings caused the most playback lag. I'll try to figure it out
