Question / Help Possible to Limit file size?

I have done some searching haven't found if this is possible. Is it possible to put a maximum file size limit into effect when doing local recording. Say limit it to 4GB? Or even a limit on time length would work.

Does anyone know of a way to do this?

not really you have to calculate how long your recording will be and how high the bitrate should be

There is a plugin to Split recordings. Even this whould help you? It limits the time lengh.
